| | Tips for Safe Internet Usage:
| | 1. | Always keep your user id and password private. Each user should have their own user id and password. Use numbers, special characters, upper and lower case letters to keep them from being easily guessed. Avoid using common names or words that could easily be associated with you. Don’t write them down where they can be accessed by others. Regularly change your password and avoid using the same one for everything.
| | 2. | Scan your computer regularly with anti-virus and spyware software. Make sure you update your anti-virus and spyware software regularly. Make it easy on yourself and set up the automatic updates and a daily scanning schedule. Most anti-virus or spyware programs have that capability.
| | 3. | Review your accounts on a regular basis. Make a point of checking your transactions at least once a month or more often if it fits your schedule.
| | 4. | Our systems will tell you when you last logged in—check that and make sure it coincides with your last login date.
